Does it smell like tallow?

There’s no added fragrance or essential oils. You may notice a very light, natural base scent when you first apply, but it fades quickly. Most people describe it as “neutral” after a minute.

Will it clog pores?

Used sparingly, it’s typically comfortable and non-heavy. Start with a pea-sized amount and press it into skin. If you’re oily or breakout-prone, begin with targeted use on dry or reactive zones (cheeks, around the nose) first.

Is it okay for acne-prone skin?

Many acne-prone customers use it successfully as a barrier-support step, especially when skin is irritated or over-dried. Introduce slowly, keep the amount small, and avoid over-layering. If you’re actively breaking out, try spot areas first.

Can I wear it under makeup?

Yes. Apply a very thin layer and give it a few minutes to settle. It works best as a “comfort base” to reduce dryness and tightness, then follow with SPF (AM) and makeup as usual.

Is it safe for very sensitive skin?

The formula is intentionally minimal and free from added fragrance, essential oils and alcohol. If you’re extremely reactive, patch test first and build up gradually over a few days.
